If there is one thing the streets of Chicago will teach you and that’s learning how to survive. Everyone knows there are the law abiding citizens that respect one another and then there are the others that may believe that we live in a world where unfortunately crime will pay them something (or that they have nothing to lose).
Our mission is to provide the opportunity for anyone taking these courses to have a de-escalation mindset in every situation. To always consider the “what if’s” and understand the consequences from both sides of the spectrum.
I offer you knowledge from my 10 years of combined experience as an Armored Car Officer, Security Officer, Gun Enthusiast, professionally trained and Certified Instructor, and Certified Range Safety Officer (RSO). Allow my knowledge and experience help you become a safer and more experienced firearms owner.

Safety is our number one objective
Instructor: Allen Young
Qualification: Security officer certification through Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations, NRA (National Rifle Association) Basic Pistol Course, USCCA instructor course.
Training: Security officer training at Security Training Center Inc, USCCA Instructor course, NRA (National Rifle Association) basic pistol course, ASP handcuffing and baton training, Taser training, certified with the State of Illinois through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in weapons training in Revolver, Semi-Automatic, Shotgun and Rifle.
Experience: 10-year experience as an armed security officer, also worked as an armored car driver/ armed guard. Additional training in taser, OC spray, ASP handcuffing and baton. Advanced Security Training in terrorism, security aptitude, verbal judo, loss prevention, investigations, levels of force.
Years of each experience: 2-years USCCA Instructor, 8-years of Security officer, training in law enforcement not offered.
Certified USCCA Instructor
Quality training by a qualified Safety Instructor
Instructor Young is certified by the USCCA (United States Conceal Carry Association) as well as certified by the Illinois State Police for CCL (Conceal Carry License) and BFSF (Basic Firearms Safety Fundamentals) courses.
